Children are grouped according to age and that group does everything together. Swim lessons are offered, as well as, daily swim time at the public pool, under supervision of not only the guard staff but also CYC staff. Other activities may include canoeing, ice skating, roller skating, miniature golf, going to movies, etc

Transportation:

‚ÄčTransportation (Quincy) is provided to/from designated schools by the Quincy School District.
Transportation (Waterloo) is provided to/from Center/School by CYC.

School Age Program:

During the school year, school age children are at the center before and after school. When children come in from school in the afternoons, they have snack, bathroom and clean-up time; then they either play the video games, play outdoors, or play the various table games and/or with toys made available to them. At a specific time, those children whose parents want them to start their homework have a supervised homework room to go to. Activities are individual and/or group participation indoor or outdoors (weather permitting).

Preschool Program:

In addition to the day-to-day activities that the children participate in, we also have a highly regarded Pre-School Education Program for 3's and 4/5's (not in school) during the school year.
In these sessions, the children are learning the basics of development and educational practices, readying them for kindergarten. This will include, but not limited to, colors, shapes, numbers, letters, printing, use of writing tools (pencil/crayon), group activities/projects, individual activities/projects, field trips (apple picking, pumpkin picking, etc.) and much more! There is no additional fee to children already enrolled in the center
